Honda Akrapovic Titanium slip on exhaust (for ABS type) 08F88MFL900A. Good condition. This will fit 2009 to 2013 ABS Models (from what I understand the link pipe and cable are different for the ABS model). I don't have the spacer for the footpegs, I just used washers which will be supplied.

The link pipe has some tar on it (just needs wire wooling). There is also a slight surface scrape on the link pipe (think I must have scraped it going round a bumpy bend in the Dales - didn't notice it until I removed exhaust).

Maybe worth wire wooling before you sell it ian. It will sell better when it's minted up .. Did mine but looks like I'll be selling it as I fancy an r1 lol

Good advice! Let me know if you need to sell that SP1 cheap to raise some funds for the new R1 ;)

Agreed, Akra looks better, sounds better, is much lighter, bike goes better - and it doesn't rust like the standard Honda item :) Just got the new one off Graeme to fit to the RR-E.

New Blade doing ok thanks - all covered up waiting for the salt to go - won't be long now hopefully.

If you get a new R1 will you keep it as a road bike?

    Hi Ian,
Will this definitely fit a 2012? Also what is the spacer that's missing?
    Thanks,
    Marc

    Hi Marc,

    Welcome to the Forum.

Yes it definitely will fit a 2012 - I had it on my 2012 model RR-C. It is for the ABS model (for some reason Honda do 2 types, ABS and non ABS). The right footpeg needs spacing out slightly to provide clearance for the exhaust. I bought the exhaust from Rich C off the forum but he forgot to remove the Akra spacers when he traded in his bike. I just used washers which do exactly the same job (and will be supplied with the exhaust).

The exhaust transforms the look of the bike, they sound great and are a lot lighter than standard. I liked it that much I've bought one for my 2014 Blade (different fitment so I couldn't fit 2012 exhaust).

    Cheers,

    Ian.

Thanks for the response. I only picked up my 2012 yesterday and it's totally stock. Needs subtle changes. I'm torn between the Yoshimura and the Akrapovic... I do like the heatshield option on the Yoshimura

    Enjoy the new bike :)

I like the Akra without the heat shield - the link pipe looks good and I can see more of what I've paid for :) The good thing with this can is that it can be easier to insure as a modification (as it is a standard Honda part).

Thankyou. It's the anniversary edition. Is the Akrapovic logo lasered on or is it a sticker and can the baffle be removed?

Yes its lasered (not a sticker). The baffle can be removed - but its LOUD without it! (only tried it once without)

Does it have a carbon clamp or does it not need one?
