    Hi

I wont bore you with the reasons why, but I need a new ecu. Can anyone advise if I have to get an exact code match ecu or will any 2004 to 2007 ecu be ok?

    Cheers

Have you tried to reset it? Start her up don't touch the throttle wait for fans to kick in then kill switch

+1 for the above, but disconnect the battery for 10 mins first.

06/07 will be ok, not sure about 04/05 as they're mounted differently. Also, you would need to change the key/lock if the edu can't be programmed to your existing key?

Where abouts are you as I have an RR6 track bike that you could swap bits with.

    Hi

I've basically snapped the casing on the ecu. It works but I have to tape it up, which I don't want to do. I'm in Bolton, Lancashire, so any help would be much appreciated.

Silicon sealant would probably be better than tape for now.

If it's just the casing then would you be in a position to swap just the casing with any RR6/7 ECU off ebay or similar? Should be much easier than changing to another ecu and having to swap other stuff over to match.

It's broke where the wiring connector locks onto the ecu, so it basically wont lock in place. It's a real pain. I know it's all hidden but I know it's not right and I just want to keep the bike a good as possible!

It sounds like I need to get another ecu and lock? If so how much should I pay?
