You would be better off breaking the bike mate IMO. Not a lot of folk would fork out 12.5k on a 08 bike, but sure as shit they would fork out for the goodies.
Lol don't start with the Can I have stuff. I can detect the 1000rr vultures circling lol. It's on ebay which is painful enough. One guy rang and chatted for 25 mins and offered me 6k. Always thought it was better to break col but thought I'd see if anyone wants it. Pretty much only the engine frame and swinger which is standard so even tho its 08 it's the same as bolting the bits on a 2015. I may not sell it yet ha. I'm top messer. Still haven't decided between new Bm, rsv4 or new r1. Wife wants me To keep the blade but fancy a new project Just picked up a nice 954 for the road so thsts sorted. She will keep my sp1 company
R1 would be my choice and it probably will be next year. I don't think you would have any issues selling the kit off of the bike on here or the likes or TDR. The kit you have is all good stuff that most are looking for. The first thing anyone will see is the price tag for a 08 plate and say no way, without even reading the spec (which more than warrants the price)
You have first dibs on the dust caps rob I like the r1 col but tempted to wait a while and see if there's smy gremlins. Sure there won't be. Ideally it would be nice if I could get one in 3 or 4 months with 2000 miles on that was about 3 k cheaper so the depreciation gas started. I can get a new model Bm for an believable price which is appealing
