At 9 months old, the fact that I have dared to ride my Blade in conditions that are not totally dry, I am not surprised with the exhaust can being covered in pockets of surface rust, and some fasteners showing the same condition, as most us know how far Hondas quality control has fallen.

So I must admit to be totally surprised to see both mirror arms bubbling away under the satin black paint.....and my dealer is sharing the same surprise as well.

So pictures taken, claims for mirrors and can have gone into the hapless Honda warranty department and the clock starts ticking.......

You rode a Blade at only 9 months old...WOW....
Most don't get near one till they're at least 21 years old

The makings of a world champion rider indeed...keep up the good work :D

Finally after a month, Honda after some discussion have agreed to replace the mirrors and the exhaust.

Why it should even take any discussion over corrosion on a bike under a year old is beyond me.

Good news there getting replaced! BMW might have suggested that the vehicle is a summer only tool and you invalidated the warranty
