I've had Titax levers a few times and Pazzo's but I've also had quite a few sets of Chinese stuff until the last bike (Gixer 1000 K5) and there was a big hoohar regarding them not being engineered correctly causing the gradual application of the front brake until it could throw a rider off!

Are there any similar issues with the CBR1000RR (09) ones or should I just stick with the proper ones? Thinking of trying Accossato ones maybe?

You pays ur money! I have used these and genuine levers on all forms of bikes without a single issue except where I mucked up. It is difficult to spot the difference and whi knows where ur genuine lever is made. Fit it correctly and ensure it has sufficient free play and all should be good. IMO it was a particular brand and model but I was not there so all speculation.

I've used Cheap Ching Chong Chang Levers on my Track Bike for quite a while with no issues.
Only swapped em out as I upgraded to a Brembo RCS.

Got some Blue Pazzo's for a Blade same as these below for sale if ya interested for £90 delivered?

Use em on my track bikes... £16 and no drama if I bin it. As for all the horror stories of them snapping on impact.... bollocks. Tried and tested lol. Gonna get a set for my road bike myself, days of spending £120 are over!

Sam here, used cheap chinazzo's on the gsxr and now the blade. Hard to see the difference IMO.

I had some on my blade.
Looked nice, but snapped off at the base in a very low speed spill, vs the standard levers that bend a bit or snap neatly if you drill them first.

Also bought some for my dirt bike, which were also weak and broke easily in the wrong place.
Put me off all Chinese kit: metal really is low grade stuff.

But as some have said: cheap, and as long as you carry spares, then they are good for track days or budget racing.
If you dont carry spares then you risk the inconvenience of a snapped lever vs a bent but still ridable lever.

Just remembered that I also had folding cheap Chinese levers for my R1 too, that were supposed to fold instead of breaking.
They snapped at the base too! Both sides, different spills.
    I guess I'm a slow learner.

The way I ride if it goes down the levers are gonna be the least of my worries :D
So long as they are safe to use that's all I need to know.

I've had Chinese levers on all three of my last bikes, no problems at all and hard to tell the difference from the real thing.

I did have a set of chinese levers on my blade, and although visually identical to Pazzos, the machining tolerances weren't quite correct, resulting in the clutch slipping.
In fairness, the Ebay supplier refunded my money no questions asked, and didn't insist on me posting the levers back to china.

I have some nice PP tuning ones, feel pretty good. Look nice, but they'll be off soon as I have Brembo master cylinder on its way. They'll be looking for a new home if you're interested..
