Was at Knockhill on Monday.. great day as usual even though the day was cut short by snow. had a few great tussles with some of the more modern machinery on show.. but nothing was any faster than the old bird on the short straight through 2nd, 3rd, 4th and a little of 5th. Did about 100 laps and she still showed that she had what it takes on the drag races I've got another couple of videos with a couple of 1098's being shown the back tyre will post up shortly Even the BMW S1000r was no faster.. I've the gearing down 1 tooth at the front plus all the other wee mods
tell me about it! I thought his wheel was going to kiss me for a min! he binned it later on in the day - he was just winded but bike not in good shape..
What a silly billy. You can tell just by that short clip he's a liability lol. Looks like you had a good day I've a pal in that end of the woods. Has a carbon S1000RR track bike (was mine) & a Panigale R track bike.. Davy his name. Top bloke too
Last time I was on track there was an S1000RR guy that had a few attempts to get past down the straight. He was unable if I got good drive out of the final corner. I got it a bit wrong on one lap and he was past but given I am 6'2" and 110KG and he looked maybe 70KG I was pretty happy with how the blade was going
I did see him and forgot to say hi. He stayed in the intermediate / novice group and didn't move up.. So didn't get to have any battles. Looked quite fast so obviously just likes passing people rather than challenging himself..!
Must admit, pani looks poorly ridden but plenty more in the locker left? Think it scares the shit out the dude when he has a little wind on down straight and it stand up on back wheel! Was shocked by one today also at Snet, very quick bike down back straight, certainty complemented the dude who was riding it at a much slower pace in the corners Looks fun though either way, only done a lap at knock hill but can imagine it getting very lively there due to its tight lay out
and browse the Ducati Carbon catalogue to see if he could buy carbon dust caps to reduce weight and look way more coolerer, lol
