Anyone know if you can swap the stock 2012 Honda 1000 RR ABS clip-ons onto a 2014 1000 RR ABS without any modification?

The reason I want to do this is: I recently traded my '12 for a '14 and I don't like the new "more aggressive" rider position. I know it's a small difference, but I was fine with the '12 position. I thought if the only difference between the 2 years was the clip-ons (and pegs), the easiest remedy was a direct swap.

I've checked all the stuff that attaches to the bars (switches, levers, etc) and both years have all the same part numbers except the Engine Stop Switch and the Turn Signal Switch. I'm not sure what the difference is between the switches, but I wouldn't want to modify mine to make them fit.

I know I can get Heli-Bars, but thought this might be simpler if all fits. Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks
    Amnesia

    Yes, they are definitely different.

According to reviews: "The riding position of the 1000rr was changed in the 2014 models to a "more
aggressive position. Clip-on bars are 34mm wider, spread out 5 degrees more, and angled 5 degrees lower for a more aggressive riding position".

    part................................................... 2012.....................................2014
    Clip-on (r).................................53100-MFL-305................53100-MGP-305
    Clip on (l)..................................53150-MFL-305................53150-MGP-305
    Turn signal switch...................35200-MFL-671................35200-MGP-A91
    Engine stop switch..................35130-MGP-003...............35130-MGP-D61

*all other parts that attach to the bars have identical part numbers for both years

Doesn't sound like much, but the 2012 position was "just" acceptable for me. I find with the new, "more aggressive position" my neck gets quite sore. This is probably because I'm only 5'7'' with a short reach (and 59 years old!). The "spread out 5 degrees" puts the grips more forward, and the "angled 5 degrees lower" stresses my neck even further. I would prefer to swap to the 2012 bars since I know that they work for me, but I'm just unsure if the turn signal and engine stop switches from the 2014 will fit on the 2012 bars (since they are a different part number than the 2012 switches). The switches all have mounting pins which need to correspond to alignment holes in the bars. Everything on the bars fits together like a jigsaw puzzle with very small tolerances.

I could go with Heli-Bars, but then I have all the lines, and fairing clearances to worry about. And I don't really need that much change in position. At least I know the stock 1012 bars are designed to fit the bike. I was hoping that someone has already tried this.
