Will people please stop posting pics of AGVs. I love the look of them but they don't fit me. In fact I hate them on my head so much I have to rip them off
Anyone use the pinlock ear plugs ? I just use the cheapie £1 a pair "quiet" orange (rubber not foam) type with the little stick in the middle. I find you have to shove them right in your 'lobe to block the wind. Would the £20 type be that much better/quieter/comfortable ? Thanks
I seriously doubt it,great marketing ploy tho as the pinlock insert is great. I've tried loads of earplugs as wear them during the day to sleep too as nightshift every other week. The best ones I've found are moldex spark plugs, get them off eBay for about £7 for 50 pairs
Arai RX7GP with the best Crutchlow lid so far...lol Despite loving the lid and fit I have to admit the new lining isn't as resilient as the old Astro R I had
Had a good couple of hours with the NXR today. Really pleased with it, it's quieter than the Rebel, wider field of vision, better clarity of visor. It has a chin curtain which Arai still have not bought out over here. It's lighter and fits me closer despite being the same size. No buffeting, even with high speed head turns. Enough ventilation for me. I guess the message is don't believe the marketing hype ! I went for the Rebel as it's supposed to be for "naked" bikes.... Oh and the pinlock ear plugs work well, they fit easier and better than the orange rubber ones I was using and stay put when you pull your lid down. Quieter too yet you don't feel like your head is in a goldfish bowl... Happy days !
XSpirit Kiyo design. Not worn many,so hard to review, but expected it to be quieter, but it's got air vents all over it so guess that makes a difference. I do notice it's much noisier when I wear my collarless race leathers rather than my Dainese jacket with a higher collar. I guess it gets under the lid easier
