    Just use WD40 on a cloth with gets all the chain oil off nicely.
    Use a dry chain lube.
    Then I use Muc-Off Motorcycle protectant (spray on cloth and wipe on) don't get it on your brake discs. Not a lot will stick to it after that and lasts well with a decent waterproof shine. I use it on all metal parts, comes up lovely.
