Hi Guys, I'm sad to say that I have decided to buy an RSV4RF and will be trading in my much loved and highly pimped Fireblade. They have given a decent trade in price but one of the mods which I will be taking off and selling seperately are a pair of BST carbon fibre wheels which I bought about 3 years ago. They are in mint condition and cost me £ 2,300. Since putting them I have done limited mileage (last year was an embarrassing 98 miles) and the bike has always been garaged and well looked after. Not sure where to advertise them or for how much but thought I would start here. I tried to upload a picture but it failed but they look stunning and make a major differnce to the performance of the bike. Any interest?
I'm really not sure as it depends on the level of interest but I am thinking that with a new set of tyres on there around £1,400 i.e about half what they cost new (and they are in as new condition).
Sorry about the seperate post but I had difficulty uploading the picture and I'm crap at technology. The tyres on now are not those in the picture which was take after a day at the Californian Superbike School. The new ones are hardly used.
I'm just checking that MK1 is 100% on the deal and if not I'll let you know. Already had one buyer pull out (legit reason - missus found out!). In theory he is collecting directly from the dealer who's swapping them over but they are closed today so I couldn't check for sure.
