How many teams are thinking "now there's a rider we want in our team?"

So much for being able to ride anything quick and win! So if he doesn't have the best bike he just throws his toys again interesting

I'm sure the factory teams will be lining up to have him ride one of their bikes for future events....... Certainly done himself no favours.

He went down in my estimations with his treatment of William, you just need to look at him to see he is nothing more than a petulant child if he doesn't get his own way, this just proves the point

Disagree with the lot of you.
That r1 did nothing at the nw200.
And is continuing to do nothing at the TT.
He going faster on his stock 1000..
Dunlop races to win, not just take part.
I would have done the same..

Winning at all costs? This is sport. Not war. Michael Dunlop is fast running out of allies in the paddock. That's another reason to come to the TT. you get to hear stuff from the horses mouth uploadfromtaptalk1433491183931.jpg

I don't think Michael cares about having allies.

yeah but he cares about winning, and to do that you need a top bike. i've always defended his attitude and admired his head strong approach and not caring how he is often perceived, but I think he's gone too far.

In the real world and should be the case in sport you have to meet the obligations you commit too imo(obviously we don't know the full details of the contract etc).... if the bike isn't up to scratch, then tough sh!t, luck of the draw, fulfil your commitments, shake hands and move on to what you think is the better bike to give you the most opportunity next year..... he jumped to the R1 quick enough when he thought it'd be a top bike.

This time round I think he has shot himself in the foot, yes he will prob get better results this year.... but who would sign him up now for next if he is prepared to jump ship at the last minute cos the chips are down and leave the team in the sh1t, I wouldn't... as although he is a brilliant rider, others out there can beat him.

But then again, I don't own a team at the TT, and he is still out there competing and couldn't give a fcuk about our opinions so it's all kind of irrelevant aint it ;)

I think the same Jimbo but listening to Manx radio this morning there was an interview with a few team bosses and the feeling from them was they would all want him if he would ride for them, he brings more than just his talent I think publicity is key and he's the man of the moment ! Even though I never particularly liked him if he was going to do this, now is the time good luck to him but I wish even more luck to Ansty, Hutchy and mcGuiness as they are my three to watch this year .. Although it will probably be the MD show again

He might start caring when he has to put his hand in his pocket to fund his racing. Or worse to pay the lawyers.

Not listened to the radio so can't comment, I don't blame them for thinking, let's throw him a ride, no prep no pressure nothing to lose etc....

But teams have the same desire to win, would you now invest £100k's in a bike and team built around MD to win when if its not looking likely he jumps last minute....

There's publicity and daft business sense and surely every team boss will now be considering this long term.

Fickle, determined riders can be managed and put up with as long as they win which MD does, but no good having a bike that's cost you a fortune and no rider cod he's pissed off last minute....

He's certainly a top rider but the way he goes about things is unconventional . I do think any team would have him as his talent and no fear attitude is what they want. Milwaukee must be spewing and Shaun Muir must be raging/ gutted or possibly both. His contract must have had something in it to let him do that or they ripped it up with conditions he can't talk about it.
