2004 rr my low beam headlight is not working
it is not bulb bulb works on high beam side if i swap them but not on the low beam side

checked with multi meter and i get 13.8 volt from bothside but bulp will not light up only with on lower beam side

how is that possible to have electric from both connectors exactly the same volt but low beam does not work other side makes the bulp light if swapped

    i am going mad

Check what happens to the voltage when you connect the bulb. Does it drop to 0 volts? If so, suspect a dodgy earth down by the upper fairing bracket on the left near where your knee would sit.

Is the bulb a snug fit in the holder? Voltage may be good but without a decent connection you'll get diddly squat power. Also check for corrosion on the connectors.

funny thing is when i check with multimeter shows voltage but i also checked with battery testing thing and showed no voltage

so multimeter reads something diffirent than but what

i will run a cable from battery and check if earth is the problem or live or both

how can i check if the relay is good or bad there is 4 relays on the bike which one is for low bbeam 1 realy is definetly for high beam if unplug that high beam goes

are all the relays same if i swap them i still do not get connection

Digital multimeters can often read like that because they don't load the system enough to draw any meaningful current. As for checking relays just bypass each one. Don't know if they are all the same or not.

Ok found the problem there is no earth live wire is working fine.

I looped the earth from high beam and works fine now.

Thinking of getting to bottom of it by stripping little bit.

Where does the headlight earth is the thing I need to investigate now also maybe do a Continutie test önce i can track the cable

I will print the wiring diagram on a paper and see what is gonna happen :)))
