I'm looking at getting my e-seat re-covered as it sustained a scuff down one side. Does anyone know anywhere that does this ??
If you get stuck, there's a place near me that does it, if you want to send it to me I could take it to them and get it done for you. JD
Lee, i had mine done by Car connection in Wallasey, dock road. http://www.car-connection.co.uk/ See this thread: http://1000rr.co.uk/mods-upgrades-accessories-products/2066.htm Top work, and alcantara and carbon leather was £100 inc the logo. Yours may be able to be a cheap fix???
Custom Covers UK Use this guy he is brilliant, been using him for years, he uses marine vinyl so you won't get fade in colour, if you sell the bike you can pull it off and the original cover is still there undamaged.
Good call Si, thanks, popped in too see him this afternoon, and he's gonna sort it for me ............
He had a smart looking carbon look vinyl which he's gonna put a red stiched seam round the outer edges, should look quite smart if it turns out like i think ???? pics as usual when i get it back..
Lee, I got mine recovered afew weeks go, forgot to post a pic up of it. Not the best pic but you get the idea. Dark grey alacantara top with black leather sides and red stitching. Also with CBR Fireblade logo, love the logo.
Yeh i did really like yours with the leather side pieces. They also made up a slip cover to cover it when i wash bike or whatever. I just hope its nice to sit on and has some grip.
A slip.... Cool! I want one of those I case it rains etc... Can you let me know who did it mate, wouldn't mind one for myself?
I just got the company who recovered the seat to make one up. Just a simple bit of fabric with elasticated rim that goes over seat.
Ah we did discuss the leather/alcantara route but the weather issue swayed me towards the waterproof vinyl..................... 'a simple cover he says' ...........dohh !!
Cheers mate. Im happy with it aswell. was concerned the dark black would look odd on the Red/Black bike, but it looks awesome.
