was going to post this yesterday but was too busy forgot lol.
My bike come with a map from track electronics and read at 193 hp. The baffle map was set to run at 5% down. The bike was fast so fast I just run it five percent down with baffle out. The bike seemed to have lost a bit of power recently or I just got used to it.
I just changed to a power commander without the secondary upper injector control as I bought irc traction which I can't get working properly.
Any way where I was gettin to. I took my bike to race engineering dunmow as its close to home. Got a switch for dual map and a proper map for full power and a baffle map. Run it Monday night to have a test up. Baffle in as was too loud for baffle out. I'm really impressed with it. It feels so smooth loads of torque and slightly smoother it seems. The power come out on his dyno at 171 hp. He spoke me through the map and how his dyno reads low. Bikes lost a few horse power but still pulls like a animal he reckons. So if your after a map I highly recommend him

Sounds a good guy to have map it, good smooth power delivery is better than outright power any day.

that's the thing with dyno's,everyone tells a different story.i've just bought a blade with 180 at the wheel, standard motor, but brand new rebuild.i suspect if put it on another dyno it'll be less than that.

as long as it's smooth, with a good chunk of torque, that the important bit.

    Dynos are a rubber ruler.
I used to own and operate a car rolling road, so easy to smudge the figures and make it show more, but just kidding themselves and customers.

putting a map from another engine with others mods won't works...... and surely less.

the most important thing is to read number on the same dyno before and after tuning engine.

Like this i ve gain 30 rewhip ..... lol

    :)
