Got the carbon Akra on mine, love it. Used to have Yoshimura, but it wasn't running well with it on and it was a lot louder!

Had the AR "tested" at Castle Doom this morning 116 DB!!! Mind you the retards make you rev to 9750 and practically shove the DB reader up the pipe. Loads of bikes were failing.

Got the carbon Akro on my road bike, still has the cat etc and came supplied on the bike new as part of the Samsung rep version. Great looking and brilliant sound.

Was looking at this for my track bike. I've got a Leo Vince titanium system on it now but it's putting out 109db so looking for something under 103db. You can get this down to 94db without any significant compromise on power.

You can get a race or road full system and around £500 cheaper than all the other suppliers for the same system. Quality piece of kit

    Hi Folks,

Sorry if this has already been covered. If I went for say a Yoshi or Akra slip on would i need to get the bike re-mapped etc?

Slip ons with the curved pipework are pretty good as they create some back pressure and give the effect of a high level pipe with the length of pipe, however Honda designed the original very well and you'll not get any more power without a remap.

On my old Speed triple I went from a high level pipe to a low level Zard and it was atrocious until remapped due to the short pipe off the collectors..

I'am not looking for any more power. i just want to make sure if I put a slip on I don't fook up the honda smooth fuelling/throttle response.

You won't just not get any more power, you will get less until remapped!

I have just fitted the Yoshi R-77 without a remap and it is MUCH better on the fuelling in comparison to the Arrow GP2 with straight short pipe before it. I would have no problems living with the Yoshi and with the baffle in it runs a touch better again.

It's not really noticeable. You'll probably find you ride quicker because of the noise it makes (I know I do:D)

I will get it mapped but theres no rush. The bike still feels awesome.

I fitted a RaceFit too......... Great Exhaust, but definitely needs a remap as it's basically a totally free flow exhaust with very little back pressure. The more free flow, the more likely you'll loose power and torque without a remap.

I have a Racefit Black Edition on my 08 Blade and without a power commander it was very "lumpy" especially at low revs. Pulling away it wanted to embarrass me by stalling every time but a PCV and a map from some kind chaps on here has totally transformed it into a really rideable yet potentially lethal missile.

Yep..... RaceFit Black definitely needs a PCV but once fitted it's great and sounds like a GP Bike, not for those who don't like a loud exhaust though.

Each to their own, but I love it and it's the second blade I've had the RaceFit on.

Hi. I fitted the power commander myself. It is really quite simple. Pop off tank cover and remove tank and 4 or so clip on connectors and your neutral to the battery and your done. Failing that your local dealer will sort you out. There is probably a video on you tube which will show how easy it is. Jim Green sent me a racefit map and its worked a treat. I can send it to you if you want. Cheers. PS if fitting yourself take a little care in routing the PCV cable. Make sure it doesn't get snagged when you put the tank back in place

Hi Pete, I've got a '14 blade with a race fit black exhaust and now want my low down power back! Looking into getting a power commander this week, can you send me the map? Got to try that before I fit a larger 44 rear sprocket to get more grunt!
