2015 BSB replica Fireblades

HONDA is to make a limited run of 50 CBR1000RR Fireblades in the colours of the firm’s British Superbike team.
Honda will release a limited edition British Superbike replica Fireblade this summer.
50 CBR1000RRs will be adorned in the stunning red and black colour scheme campaigned by Dan Linfoot, Jason O’Halloran and Jenny Tinmouth in the 2015 British Superbike championship.
The bike was displayed at Honda UK’s dealer day at Donington Park last week, complete with Akrapovic exhaust. However, a full spec of the 50 limited machines has not yet been released.
Last year’s limited edition Urban Tiger Fireblade also came with a special edition akrapovic, as well as an upgraded cylinder head and revised ECU to boost top-end power and mid-range torque.
If the BSB-spec bike is of similar spec, it should cost around £13,299 and will be available in dealers late next month.
The announcement comes as Honda’s British Superbike team returns to full force with podiums at last weekends fourth round of the championship at Snetterton for Jason O’Halloran

 

I've never really taken to the Honda's colour scheme on their BSB bike, but if there's a few mechanical upgrades it could be tempting for some, but I'll settle with the Repsol scheme.

 

I prefer the Scott redding replica that vertu honda have commissioned

That was not an offiial Honda UK one, some dealers have done their own.

That's funny, the urban tiger had a revised cylinder head and upgraded ecu, so it was just like every other 2014 RRE in the engine dept then, I thought it just had a sad replica paint job to ape the original UT, right down to the rather tacky fake fairing hole stickers. Surely they could have drilled some holes in the fairing to pay some respect to the original.

 

Sad maybe in your eyes lad. I've just come back from a week at the TT on my Urban Tiger, tbh I have never had a bike that drew so much attention and got so many positive comments as this one . I also have an original Urban Tiger and had a 2014 tricolour HRC do can speak from first hand experience of all of these models

Yes they are all stock with a paint job and exhaust but do kind of like it.

 

I'd go for the Scott Redding scheme over the BSB one.

 

Yes agree I thought holes were drilled when I asked beckers and he confirmed they are stickers ,would have been better drilled,anyway I have just ordered one arrives in two weeks w hen I come back off holiday ,btw mark there was only about 42 of them painted at louth
