    Yo dudes!

I'm at last in't market for a Yoshi R77 for my 2011. Question is, where do I buy from. I know lots of people on the forum have purchased and imported from stateside but I want to avoid the horrific import duties if at all possible or at least minimize the import cost. What prices have people paid for the Yoshi?
I've heard they can be pain in the ring to fit so any advice would be much appreciated.
    Andy

Thanks for the input chaps. I'm after a new slip on really. I seem to remember someone on here purchased one from a shop on ebay in the States and somehow avoided the import duties and worked out cheaper than buying from UK.

It all depends on what the sender says the item is worth i had a set of forks delivered from Texas last week i paid over £600 for them but only paid £25 import tax and Duty so its a bit hit and miss really

I have just bought one for my 2012 blade - lucky to find a guy selling one on here. Otherwise JHS Racing are an authorised UK dealer.

Or may be interested in a good condition R77 if somebody has one for sale? They look to be near £700 for a new carbon one in UK. Seems bloomin expensive to me. Must be able to get one cheaper surely?

Second hand carbon slip ons go for about £350
I had a slip on and now full system, neither were a pain to fit

Easy enough to fit. If you buy new you'll get the spring puller with it which makes it easier.
Performance Parts are the importer I think. The R11 seems like the in thing out there now. R-77 is old school now.

Exactly, I bought my carbon R-77 form Biohazard and paid something like £380, plus £63 duty, so £440 for new carbon Yoshi R-77 was really cheap ')

Done it! been in contact with Tom at Biohazard and is shipping out tomorrow. Paid £430 including postage. Obviously I will have to pay some import duty but Tom kindly said he will mark as gift to minimize this cost. The cheapest quote I have been given in the UK from Yoshi dealers is £670 which is just plain mental. Nobody will discount either! Looking forward to receiving now.
So to install then, it's best to split the exhaust into the three different sections and fit the heat shield retention bracket prior to mounting the exhaust?

Yep, and use some copper slip in the joints as it helps to slide em around to get it all lined up.

No, there is no need to split it! It is bit tricky but you definitely can install the slip-on as whole, followed by the heat shield.
