I have an oil leak on my rr8. I'm losing roughly a litre every 360 miles ( gosport to Plymouth round trip). Oil will wash down the right hand engine casing but fortunately not get as far as the back wheel. I've had the fairings off, completely degreased and cleaned the engine, run for half hour and found nothing. It only appears to happen under load/way.

Where are the potential leak sites? Engine out time?

Potential leak site are sump plug, oil filter, engine case, sump to crank case just to name a few.

Anything to do with the valve problem you had? Did you fix yourself or got someone to sort?

I shelled out roughly 2K in the end once I'd factored in a power commander, custom map, new plugs and coils . So I'm thinking that I might take it back to the bloke who did the work. Not because I think he cocked up, he just knows the engine inside out.

Sound like something is amiss! Not doubting his work but strange you've had work done and now this, oil filter is on right side I'd double check it is done up tight or not damaged and leaking, then look at all the right side seals
