Hi All Just thought I'd introduce myself. I've been riding for 4 years on an 02 plate CBR600F. Great bike and absolutely love it. I've been looking for a blade for a while and finally decided to buy a new HRC. It gets delivered on Wednesday. I'm keeping my 600 for a mate who was forced to sell his bike when he had a baby. Really can't wait now, I've never ridden a litre bike and ive not even sat on a Blade yet so I'm interested to see what it's like. Cheers Nick
Morning and welcome. Had a 600f as my first proper bike about 10 years ago and she was a good un. And I also are awaiting delivery of a 15 HRC You're in for a big shock when you wind it open... they make power everywhere and lots of it. That said, as far as litre bikes go they are docile in the fact that they won't try and kill you with power band like delivery. And are very easy to ride. Bit harder on the wrists than the 600 but you will get used to it. Good choice of machine though. As are the last of the proper sports bikes before the new electronics era swamps every new bike.. Enjoy man
Welcome to the forum - hope the new bike gives you lots of fun. Lets see a picture or two when you finally get it - if you're not too busy riding and enjoying!
Thanks guys, I'm really excited to get it now. I've only had my 600 since I passed so I'm keen to experience the blade. I'll get some pics up when she arrived
Welcome fella! I am another converted 600F rider, having owned one for 7 years before getting the blade. You'll love it. It feels familiar enough to the 600F and forgiving enough to ease you in until you are ready to push it. I really loved my 600F - but I love the blade even more
Well the bike arrived on Wednesday so I took her for a 100 mile ride and again last night. I'm not taking her to the Rev limiter yet, but I really don't need to. F@@k it's quick. Really nice to ride though, feels strangely familiar to my 600F. The thing I noticed is the suspension is much firmer than the F. I'm assuming this is normal? I was wondering if the suspension was in the wrong setting... Over all I'm really happy with it and glad I chose it. Brilliant bike. I've added a few pics as requested
