New bike was delivered Friday and is immaculate, only two hopefully minor issues I need to resolve. First is a weak battery, hopefully a few days on a trickle charger will resolve. Second is the clutch bite position.

The clutch bites around an inch from the bar, but I prefer the bite to be further out as I find I'm kicking gears in before I've fully engaged the clutch and I'm snatching the clutch when I pull off. My 600rr bite was around a third of the way in from fully out position and I found this perfect. I know I'll get used to it but would rather set it to be how I like it.

Does anyone know how to adjust the bite position? I'm guessing it's a fairing off job...

    Would appreciate any advice.

Check that your clutch lever freeplay is correct.

I have attached a copy page from the owners manual on the correct measurement.

Yep, that worked dude. Didn't think it would, but it's spot on now. Cheers. Just need the feminist rain to give over now so I can score some saddle time!

Glad the manual helped. I was taught to think simple first for any diagnoses work :)
