Hi Steve, my map is for the 08 bike, not sure it will work on the newer model, others may know more about that but PM me your email address and will send it[emoji41]

Hi Guys...... Don't use the 08 map for a 2014 bike, the mapping is quite a bit different.

I had the racefit black mapped on my 2011 bike, which is the map I sent Pete.

Now I have the later Racefit Black on my 2015, all mapped by the best in the business (DynoTech). When comparing it against my 2011 map there's quite a difference.

If your's is a genuine 2014 bike with the larger downpipe, then you need the later map. The main difference is that the 2014/15 bike's have the catalytic converter in the down pipe, where as pre 2014 have the cat in the exhaust.

Check what you've got and if need be, I'm willing to send you the later map for a 2014/2015 bike with the RaceFit Black.

Anyone got any experience of Delkevic exhausts?

I like the look of their 200mm slash cut carbon slip on, but it seems very cheap which worries me that it's a bit pants.

Do you have a link. Never heard of them. Maybe why cheap. your not going to pay lots of £££ for something you don't know.

I have a full arrow system 44 mm and a full arrow system 40 mm both are over 105db

I want to use a standard stainless header with an open race slip on, what do we know about best performance and around 100db

also both systems are for sale

Hi DF and all other members! This is my first post as I've just changed religion from Yamaha to Honda (previous bike a 2007 R1), now the proud owner of a Repsol 2015 ABS Blade. Anyway to the point, Exhausts. Which one? The Delkevic mini 200mm carbon for £180 looks nice, I've been looking at a HotBodies Racing MGP Growler as well for around £240 imported from the states. The Race Fit looks good too but is it really worth 2.5 times more than the Delkevic or twice the price of the MGP Growler? Any advice is always appreciated.

Hi paulwoody please be aware that if you order an exhaust from the states even if it says for2014/ 2015 model it will not fit. 2014/2015 Uk blades are E model (EURO). The american fireblades are 2012/2013 fitment still. My advise order from Italy (via ebay) .

I put this on mine :)

Hi i had a power commander on my 2010 blade with K&N filter .yoshimura r77 de cat. and custom map from dyno runs.

The Akrapovic gives the same results on the 2014 model without any mods (pcv filter etc) saving ££.

The titanium can is so light and easy to fit .

The standard can setup had a flat spots at 3000rpm and 7000rpm making aslight lag in throttle response. (due to EU emission laws)

Fitting the Akrapovic sounds great and feels like its been setup on a dyno running smoothly removing the flat spots which where there as standard.

My only criticism when i first rode the bike after fitting was vibration threw the footpeg its bolted to mainly i think due to how smooth the blade is as standard (big rubber bung/washer on standard can) . Now i dont even notice it .

Its given the blade a sporty edginess it was missing in noise and performance dept.

    Money well spent :)

Thanks again, more useful info. Do you think though maybe a spud or banana down the pipe when Mr MOT isn't looking is worth a try?

Good idea! Failing that I'll try and find an MOT centre directly below a flight path into Liverpool Airport. Anything to save a couple of quid.

Akrapovic carbon hexagonal for yours bud. YouTube search them! They look great, sound great and perform great! I had one on my 07, one of the reasons I didn't want to trade my old blade in was that stunning exhaust!
