Got a Japanese Yoshi trioval off a gixxer hope to fit to my08 blade using a Chinese sourced s type link pipe. Anybody seen one in the flesh? What's the build quality like?
Is the bore and length the same? Wouldn't that affect it if not? Like your thoughts mate. It could be a lot cheaper if so.
Hi Steve. I'm a big fan of saving money. I've had this idea since seeing Guintoli's Pata Blade in WSBK. I'm trying to find a fabricator to make me a link pipe. Pretty sure it's do-able but may not be cost effective.
I've been speaking with Mark Hill of http://www.mhpexhausts.com/ regarding changing my Arrows low slung slip-on to the higher version, like what's on Guintoli's Blade, (If he makes a new hanging bracket and linkpipe, it would be £200-250ish). A few year ago he fabed a link pipe for my CBR600RR to connect a Akra slip on to a set of serpent headers, brilliant workmanship.
I'll be sticking to my Arrow trophy for now! (£££)... lovely looking exhaust, but needs to be set higher like the Pata wsbk bike to look the part
Given up on fitting the Yoshi. Bought a mint Mivv s link pipe of ebay for 50 sovs. Be flogging said Yoshi to fund a new can to fit.
