As above my 2012 rrc abs fireblade digital dash display has gone off whilst riding this morning only done 2900 miles the hiss light was flashing the engine was still running but lumpy and the headlights where not on... I've cycled the ignition once I got to work it starts but same symptoms any help would be great
Loose connector on the back of the dash? Have a quick search as I'm sure someone else had the same problem recently.
I ve had a quick search can't see anything just pulled the double bubble out on my tea break nothing obvious if anyone could shed some light or find the post that would be very helpful thanks Adam
even if it looks fine, disconnect the dash muliplug. leave for approx 15 mins and reconnect. this may help. ensure the multiplug goes back securely ensuring a snug and tight connection. best of luck dude
As above check the dash connection! If not there is another plug that sits on the top of the rad on the near side behind the fairing check that one also
* thanks guys I think it's a job for home not on my half hour dinner break hopefully it will get me home tonight
Thanks for the help guys just checked the fuse for dash illumination under the seat and it was blown the bike comes with a spare it's all working again Ilol get it checked out if it goes again it I case it's got a short
Just an update I rarely use my bike the next time I rode it the fuse popped again so I checked it out and found the wires from the fuse box had been rubbing on the Frame around the ABS pump I've repaired it and insulated the loom along with better routing.
