Wishing him better, that was a very Nasty accident at the weekend, i watched him as he hit the Armco then the rectacell barrier, He snapped his Femur and broke his hand, the Femur is a very nasty Break and is now his season over, hope he has a speedy recovery and carries on building from what he was starting to do in BSB next season. No news on Who Honda will bring in to replace him for the remaining races yet though.
Sorry, put this in the wrong forum, can a Mod move it to the correct place? not sure how i put it in New Members, i'm sure i clicked "General Chat"
It is meant to be the same bike but in the last interview I saw with honda team boss, Jenny didn't have a crew chief and was working partly with the other riders crew when they were free. It is a shame she is always running in last 3 or 4 riders each race tho but she is beating hur PB's each round from when she was in hur own team!
Jenny is an awesome talent, she more tgan deserves her seat on that bike and is by no means there as a PR stunt, I also believe her bike is the same as the other 2, the thing with BSB this season is the grid is so good, the top 10 are seperated by little more than a second, having watched pretty much every lap of practice, qualifying and racing this season I have seen where I feel jen loses valuable time, she brakes sooner and doesnt carry as much speed through the corners and isnt getting on the power as soon as those around her, so she is loosing about half a second per corner every lap, that may not seem much much per corner but on a track that could be 3 or 4 seconds every lap. If she could just get that part right she would be up there as her lap times may be slower than most of the field but they are always consistent, she hardly ever puts in a poor lap (for her times) her laps are always pretty much tge same, so if she could shave off a couple of seconds per lap through the corners she would be fighting for points every race without doubt.
Jenny is a fast rider, but from what I have been told she is not as clued up on cornering, braking markers, and carrying the speed out of the bends. Way faster than me anyway, so I would never criticise, but it is what I have been told by someone who is close to the Honda garage. A work in progress though. Wish she would go back to the roads though as well as BSB, as she did really well at the TT. Better than some who have been riding it for years. (Just read Sam's post above and what he says is pretty much what I was told). Really hope Jason makes a speedy recovery. Was running really well in the championship, and is a very likeable guy too.
