Was a great day and we only had one red flag all day in our group ( all changed to fast ) ... do be leave we was pitched up just to the left of you lol

1.42 for me but first ride on the blade and had trouble with front end but think I got it sorted now as it was just a tad soft and when braking deep into the corners it was bottoming and pushing the front, I had a proper front fold at the hairpin nearly dislocated my hip saving the bugger lol.

lol, that was Al ... not entirely his fault I didn't leave him a lot of room but then I didn't know he was there until it was to late, did apologies and he was cool with it, he did well to keep it up right

 

Rp what's the cause of your Fi light being on???

That would drive me absolutely nuts that would!

 

A mix of steering dampener being disconnected and bazzaz tc .. don't really pay much attention to it tbh

 

Mine used to be the same.... i fixed it with a piece of black tape lol

 

Hi. I'm doing Caldwell on 2nd September first trackday so it's all new to me any advice and information all great fully appreciated.
And I am hopefully planning to stay on the bike around track. Fingers crossed. I am using Pirelli supercorsas as I have bought from a trusting friend. What tire pressure should I be running or am I over complicating things already. Cheers

I was gonna say 30psi cold and do as much as you can to prepare you/the bike in advance, saves messing around on the day.
You could pop along on another day to get a feel for the place, we're also there on Friday next week.

 

Another wet day done and back home safely.

Started off with a damp but drying track, so I stuck to Supercorsas with the view that there was no point changing to wets if the track was going to dry up. Turned out I was wrong as the heavens opened up on the 2nd session, which I ended up missing in favour of sticking the wets on. Somehow the rain really puts people off their game, so instead of being consistent mid pack Inters, I was instantly at the sharp end.
Unfortunately however the track dried up on the 6th session. I say unfortunately as I wasn't about to change my wheels again and stayed out on WOW's, which has really torn the rear up and kept me squirming around under braking as the tyres overheated. Still, it's all experience and I don't mind wet days given the right tyres
