No doubt it is, Andy has it on his bmw and rates it highly, like I said would love to try both back to back. but I'd be reluctant to own a bike with it on out of warranty. but my point is the 'base' suspension I'm sure is more than adequate set up right....... the Nonsense comment was purely for SW fishing
This Fish is wise to Jimbo's amateur Angling techniques, he needs to up his game to 'Match' level to bait this owd Carp! ZX10R semi active is only available on the rear of current ZX10's with the more than competent BPF Showa's on the front. Reckon next years ZX10R will be a 'Star Ship Enterprise' gadget wise! Might av to have another upgrade me finx!
Test rode this from Woods a while back Is was like a furnace between your legs. It would be murder today in this heat. Bought this instead
Well mines book in for tomorrow and hoping the rain keeps away. Not looking good for the weather so far. if not then no point in going out in heavy rain as I'm not going to enjoy it, So if it is bad I will rebook for 2 weeks time on a friday.
I love my Duc great bikes once they are setup right they are a pleasure to ride, but they run seriously hot and roast the nuts off you in traffic. I use mine as a track bike and the blade for the road easier to get on with the blade as a road bike.
Well it was horrendous Friday so booked it in for 2 weeks later. I'm in no rush just want to see if it's on my list of next bike or no Typical that the Thursday and Saturday was dry but I was either working or had things on
The 899 is a very agile bike and on the track is as light as a feather. Nice handling too. I could comment on the 1299 but worth trying both. Lookwise, both the blade and panigale are up there
I asked a while back and my local dealer said they don't offer test rides on the RSV4 and they don't get them as demo's. Got offered a go on the Tuono instead.
I bought my last RSV4 as an ex demo model even though it had never been out of the showroom, even still had the stickers on the tyres. Apparently my dealer said people just used to test ride them, rag the arse off em and bring them back ( but isn't that what we all do ) so they stopped offering test rides.
To tiny for my big arse. Anywho just wanted to see what the big red is to ride. I am not expecting it to be as versatile as my blade. Having toured, tracked and fast rode my bike. I just a feeling it will be epic on track and great on the road but not great for hours and hours touring. But I may be wrong
I test rode the 1299 a while back, I was supposed to test riding the DVT Multistrada but it never turned up on Demo day . Anyway after owning a 1199 a while back I was underwhelmed TBH with 1299, I thought the up & down QS and auto blipper was great though
Rode my 1199s on road, track and to Assen and back.... Its true you will roast your gentleman's parts at it will try and flip you in the first few gears if you don't respect it. Best looking bike ever made!!
Riders only give you 45 min for a test ride so its unfair to try and compare it given such a short test ride, it felt weird riding a sportsbike on the road at first but I could hardly change gear as the position of the toe peg was so far down I could hardly get my foot under it. I wasn't that bothered about test riding it TBH, I had booked the test ride for the new multi and Andy said why don't you do the 1299 as well so I agreed, until Ducati informed me that the multi wouldn't be available just 2 days before so I reluctantly just did the 1299. After my time with the 1199 ( about 6 months ) which I would say was ' disappointing ' I wasn't holding out any hopes that this would blow me away, its a beautiful bike and the new electronics are superb but I wouldn't buy another.
