I have a 2007 RR7 Fireblade. It's for 12,500km (7,500 miles) and its due its next service. Can anyone tell me what is needed to be done in this service? I'm calling round a few places with quotes and the prices are varying a huge amount. I just need to know what needs to be done so they dont miss anything. Can anyone tell me please?
I just found the service manual for a 2004 - I cant find the 2007 but I assume they are very similar. I can do this lyself but I'm wondering should I get a professional to check iot anyway?
Brake fluid should be changed every two years, coolant every three. Suspension linkages benefit from a greasing, as will other moving parts, and changing the oil in the forks. Of course these won't be done at the dealers, unless you ask and hence pay more.
Its going to depend what has been done before, do you have a service history, and know the details of work done? Mike.
