Hi all, I bought my first blade at the beginning of this season and it's amazing. Far more capable than I will ever be. It's an RR9 in repsol colours and I like her more and more every time I go for a ride. The new slip on Akrapovic has been ordered and is on its way, however, I cannot seem to find much in the way of installation help. Does anyone have any advice? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Welcome to the nuthouse matey! As for installation, book it in at dealers leave it with them whilst you sit in with your feet up watching rubbish on TV.
Nuthouse? Should fit right in then. Yeah there is a 3/4week wait though, besides, thought I'd enjoy doing it so I'll probably give it a go.
The only ones I know are out Steeple Bumpstead way, and yes, that really is a real place near Cambridge, though officially its in Essex Literally anywhere out that way will give you some nice roads
Yeah we've been to Finchinfield once or twice that way I think. Well, more up this end you've got the b660, one of our favourites. We get on at Glatton, just beyond Sawtry and go on to Kimbolton, nice little route.
Welcome I live in letchworth but most of my work is in Cambridge I'm working in fen Drayton at the moment
Will have to join you to learn some new roads out that way as most of my ridings done in Norfolk And -steves-
I am always up for a ride out on a nice day Kimbolton is a lovely run out, used to do that a bit when I lived in Peterborough. Sawtry and round there I used to push bike around from Peterborough, great roads, just a tad more exciting on a motorbike, lol
The B660, I remember that road well, I was a bit a of a loon at the time and would take on anything on my old R6 (15 years ago), and thought nothing of taking on my mate on his Blackbird on that road, I didn't know it very well, but my mate did, he completely trashed me, left me for dust and even showed me where he scraped his right hand lower fairing while he was losing me. Bit of a lesson that one, there is always someone better, knows the road better and it doesn't matter what they are riding. lol Fair play to him Of course now I am just old and very sedate anyway
