Nice work! Dumb question - what's the orange pipe coming from under your tank cover to the speedo cluster? Oh, did you not pat your tank afterwards...?
Thanks mate. Its a breather/overflow for the race tank. It will be popped under the bike when I finish I pat the tank and treat to expensive gifts
I didn't do anything as such, but took it on my first 400 mile+ in a day ride from Canterbury, up to the Norfolk coast, all around that area, and then back home. A fantastic ride,
Just had I mapped, first run had 171hp at the wheel, now has 177hp at the wheel, plus is whole lot smoother, just patted the tank too
suprisingly cheap (well, cheap in the long run...) just shy of £640 delivered. will be putting my manual stuff for sale shortly
Finished removing the bit's I'm selling in preparation of selling the bike, then rode it to a better place to take some pics.
No, you commited a very serious crime.....and I don't mean parking on double yellows. You said the sell word in the same sentence as 'Speed triple'....tut tut tut! Don't do it, I used to design parts for triumph engines.....I've seen how they're built!!!!
I know, I took the Speedy out then the Street.......I'm getting a Street! I've had a 955i Daytona and 955 Speedy back a few years ago. If I get pissed off with it then I'll shift it and end up back on a Blade. No biggie Thanks for the input tho.
Very nice of you to say that. (where's the tears emoticon ) Don't worry, I'll not be leaving, I genuinely like this place and it's nice that others think I impart some wisdom (haha) and sort of contribute in some way on here. Anyway, I like to think that the big H are gonna wheel out the big guns and bring something out that's may be worth pushing my cash in their direction at the end of next year.......yeah right... it may happen!
Not leaving.... Will you still be allowed to retain your membership on here if you move to the Dark Side, LOL
Fitted hel brake lines front and rear. Got finished later than expected so the clutch line will have to wait.
Got new PR4's fitted, (that Bridgestone did not last long at all), and some new front pads, can't remember which ones, independent garage, but as soon as I pulled away, they felt really good, and that was in the p1ssing hard rain.
