Well my bike has turned up, looks great, pity the weather is crap ! Tail tidy is on, seat cowl on, hugger on, all the warning/information stickers off.
Got it off Repsol Sam via eBay for £73, don't know why he didn't keep it for his. It is for the 07-11 model but fits the same, only difference is the shock reservoir indent is deeper on the later version.
Very very nice mate ffs how many forum members have bought a new a Repsol over the last few weeks, not a day goes by with another one appearing. Good luck to you lads and lassies I'm just very jealous
No mate, fits exactly the same. The reservoir 'just' touches the hugger in the indent but it must move with the swinging arm as a mate has had one on his for over 2 years with no problems. If anything you could trim a slot but it looks as though it will be ok. My worry is that the 55 profile tyre hits under the hugger and wears through !
Just need an exhaust at some point over the winter, leaning towards the Akrapovic megaphone although I do like the Racefit but maybe a bit loud. Had a Yoshi R77 on my other Blade and it was lovely, changed that to a Taylormade which looked excellent but didn't sound as good as the Yoshi. The one for the 14/15 model looks awful.
Pick mine up next week. Looked at the Akrapovic but £500 + so hopefully Andy is going to get a link pipe made to fit my old Yoshi onto it cos it sounds awesome. Will keep you posted BTW. Nice bike Lang
Nice! Did you get the seat cowl with it..? i want one..but its like £180!! Looking into the master cylinder upgrade for my blade...from Mike @ the biker discount store with TWN short levers...
