So about two months ago my 6 year old english bullterrier got ill. Few blood tests later and within 7 days he was diagnosed with leukaemia and basically we decided it would be kinder to end any pain there and then, we didn't want him to be put through any unnecessary pain and chemo was advised but would only give 3-6 months extra and it would not be a good quality of life. Naturally I was devastated as I brought him with some of my first ever pay cheques and he was like my best mate. I wanted another but wasn't sure, after a couple of months I decided I needed another but couldn't afford one. Well out of the blue I come home to Bruno the little devil today [emoji7] what a little lad he is well chuffed! Glad my dads got deeper pockets then me. 5th generation pedigree [emoji106].
They are brilliant dogs, don't think I would have another breed. Trained right and they are big softies with that dominant cheeky naughty side. Can't wait to get him out and about, so far he eats, poops and sleeps. Oh and pees literally everywhere lol [emoji85]
cracking looking buliy mate, what breeder does he come from mate? as im in the process of looking into the breed and hoping to get one
I didn't get a chance to meet him as it was a surprise but my dad said he was a nice guy with slot of stunning dogs. He's the health adviser for the national English bullterrier south division so I suppose he is a good start for advise. http://www.bobuddybullterriers.com
I'm sorry for the loss of your pal; it breaks my heart just thinking about ours going some day. You new boy looks great! Something tells me he has found a great family to be part of.
