So I managed to f**k up my rear left indicator while cleaning my blade...

... £170 later it's fixed :( decided to replace both sides as the other side was damaged when I wiped out on a car earlier this year...

Genuine Honda parts are a lot more expensive than aftermarket... but I've had too many bad experiences so far to risk it. Anyone else braved aftermarket indicators about to point out I could have done this far cheaper with better looking indicators?

FML should have gone with something like R&G - I use R&G crash bungs... tested them out and proved they're worth their weight in gold!! Never mind. Money has already left my account, new indicators being fitted by Honda Shrewsbury this Friday.

I always use OEM parts when I have been off. Can be rather expensive.

Jesus! Could have got an OE set for £30 both sides after looking at ebay for two minutes for my 2011... as for paying someone else to fit, one bolt and one connector.
You have far to much money to throw away. Could have got a power commander for that money, never mind indicators

I've used the cheap stubby levers from eBay for several years now and never had any issues. I always stress test them before fitting.
