Should this be sticking out so far? I give up today trying to sort it out, so far it only lifts the back wheel up
Looks about right to me, but adjust the front to rear lift you need to slacken off the main bolt and adjust the angle of the man plate with the long bolt section and re tighten.
Someone asked for help in another thread. The person that helped supplied the measurements using a tape measure. Worked for me first time
Is there a gap along the lower lift pin? That should indicate that the top one is lined up correctly.
Cracking idea - mine has never threatened to move but the extra peace of mind will let me sleep easier. After asking on here, I leave the sleeve (pictured in the OP) in the bike and don't even notice it's there while riding!
Hi im thinking of doing the R-pin on mine after seeing your photos it will eliminate the slight lean i have on mine, what size R-pin did you use?
The largest one from this pack I bought http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-150pc...495210?hash=item20e006cbaa:g:6DcAAOSwLVZVssNW
Hi Gary, how did you get on with this? I've set mine up today on my gixer and it's only lifting the back wheel too. Any suggestions? Cheers bud!
I haven't touched it since mate, it's just sat in the corner. Once I've cleared my garage out I'll have another go at it
Cheers Gary! I sent mine back to demon tweeks. Gonna replace it with a floating paddock stand instead.
It was a right chew on to set mine up but once you work it out the stand is a great bit of kit makes life easier when moving around in confined spaces!
You need to adjust the lifting plate anticlockwise (as you face it) a touch though as the back is higher than the front
