Just got fire blade delivered looking for any help getting getting some trick bits don't know what's best where to start cheers
Welcome Eric! I'm from Ayrshire too and have exactly the same machine (9 months old now). I've done a few 'tasteful' mods (tasteful to myself I might add) with more to come. R&G tail tidy, Powerbronze colour coded seat, Akrapovic slip on, SP Seat (I see you have this), Repsol rim stickers and a Repsol hugger. I'm also gonna have the suspension professionally set up in the new year. Hope to get a run out with some members on here when the weather picks up; might catch you then Chris
Roger Chris I'm from cumnock think I've seen ur bike about ayr way tidy need to get exhaust for mine don't know what to get few on eBay but not sure of fitment think the headers change size about 2014 looking for scorpion taylormade or racefit defo get a run haven't even been out to scub tyres in yet

Yeah, I've done a few miles around Ayrshire (I'm in Troon) and beyond and I love the bloody thing!! You are correct about the exhaust, you need to be looking at one for 14/15 models; it just fits straight on and away you go . Here's a pic of mine .....
Welcome aboard Eric, just be careful about mods and the insurance company. I've had to own up to everything different on my 2010 blade, vfr800 and SP2. Shocks, silencers etc. They umm'd and aaaar'd about my CE cans on the SP2. Happy New Year to you and your new baby.
Sorry, meant to say, best money spent seems to be getting a good shop to get the bike properly set up for you. I've had the rear spring changed to suit my solo weight. Someone on the forum must be able to help with a shop/guy in your neck of the woods.
