New to the forum. Just bought my third fireblade, have had other makes but keep coming back. First 1998 RRW Then a few years and bikes later a 2008 RR8 And the latest 2010 (RR9?) - sorry crap picture but do not collect it until next weekend.

The eagle has landed. Had my last fireblade 4 years ago and then no bike until a vfr800 (5th gen non vtec) 6 months ago. Have done 6000 miles on the VFR and it was a great, no fantastic, bike. Rode the VFR to the dealers for the exchange and it was great. Wet, very cold roads (-2 overnight and 4c when I set out) and only one wheel spin (on cold tyres) on the 44 mile trip. Collected the new bike and set off home. For the first mile I was thinking "what have you done you moron". Then it was "jesus this thing is awesome", so much lighter and flickable than the VFR and kept trying to change up when I was already in sixth as it was pulling so hard I assumed I must be in a lower gear. The Akrapovic sounds amazing, had the standard can on my '08 and always wanted something a little louder.
It was a bit frosty in the morning so I left it to midday (warmest part!). The roads were salted so a horrible mess to get off once i got it home! I also took the motorway route instead of the usual A Roads and as you can see from the rear tyre the lean angles were kept to a minimum! Thanks the colour seems to be a bit marmite with people but I loved it, and it looked even better in the flesh!
