Anyone got any suggestions for a good rear hugger in carbon fiber or similar finish? Seen a couple on ebay but the prices are a little ridiculous...

Pics of your own and/or links to some for sale would be awesome. Thanks

This is mine. Same look as the OEM Honda Racing one, without "Honda Racing" sticker. I eventually got the Honda Racing vinyl sticker and placed it there:

    Got it here:

    Couple of notes:
1- This is for non-ABS only
2- That seller also sells the front carbon fiber fender. I don't recommend it, as it's too thin, deforms at high speeds and rubs the tire. I still got mine tho, after it's been fixed and re-enforced.

The problem with the ABS version is that it has a lot less clearance, it's not a problem of fitting, it's a problem of clearance. You risk hitting a bump on the road and have your hugger broken to pieces. That's why Honda itself only sells the hugger to non-ABS version only.

BTW, I've owned the King Carbon hugger prior to having the current one. It has one major flaw (at least in my book). On of the sides was higher than the other, so it gave the bike an odd look. Also aesthetically is not as good looking as the OEM (or OEM like) one, but that's a matter of taste.

EDIT: What I said about clearance was true for the 08-11 model. Don't know if something changed on the 12+ version.

Ive just bought an OEM rear hugger on Wednesday. Contacted the Dealer for the colour codes as its the BSB replica. Unfortunately they don't know. Emailed Honda UK several times and they don't know either. Expected a bit more from Honda.

One last question...All these huggers listed for 08-11 etc should all fit fine for the 12-15 models? anybody aware of any small changes to the fitment?

    Cheers

Perhaps yours was a one off as mine isn't one sided and have no clearance problems

They won't fit without adjustment. You need to dremel or cut out a 2 inch square beneath where rear shock sits.

Had a Powerbronze on my 09 and a Honda Racing on my 20th anniversary and the difference in quality is night and day. HR is worth the extra, PB was ok when new but after a bit looked cheap and nasty.

Harris hugger 08-11 with small modification for the 2012 shock. Much smaller than most of the others, but looks tidy.
