Hi guys I currently run a ktm 690 duke on the road but will be looking for a blade very soon, I quite fancy the bsb rep but was wondering how the paintwork stands up to use on the re painted bikes? Thanks.
Hi and welcome. A lot of the official jobs are painted by spraybay and hold up very well. If I was buying a limited run paint finish I'd cover it in ventureshield as it won't be so easy to pick up replacement panels if yours get peppered. If you buy stock paint schemes and get stuck behind a gritting truck, at least ebay should turn up a replacement if needed. Honda panels cost a fortune to replace....side panels near £400, tank cover £750 if so. Can cost £2.5k to replace the lot from Honda. Good luck hunting.

Welcome to the forum Yep a set of replacement panels will set you back £2.5k plus so venture shield is a must
unless you buy them off me for 750, all of a new bike from padgetts, seem to be struggling to sell them, thought they would fly out the door, then theres postage, which will be a pain to parcel up to prevent damage.
condition pending, what does that mean mate, these are new and unmarked or are you referring to postage etc, cheers.
