Nicky Hayden has dragged the blade to 4th quickest time on 2 days of WSBK testing at Jerez. Thats got to be a good omen surely for this years WSBK for Honda? Not expecting them to challenge for championship but some podiums look good and maybe sneak a win. Sure the Blade has always ran well at Jerez and the temps weren't too hot - but Nicky is showing his class. New tweaked engine his year as well.

I would agree with Scott. From testing to race day anything can happen. The Kwak looks powerful once again...
In isolation that's clearly not true! However the statement 'Testing means nothing re absolute lap times posted' is a tadge more accurate!
I difnt mean it to come out as harsh as it reads but it doesn't always reflect racing results. That's put better
First test of the season they're not necessarily going for lap times, more likely going for set up. We won't know for sure until the final test at Philip Island.
Rea, Sykes,Davies and if he stays on the bike and gels with it Lowes. That's my top 4 for honours come the end of the season , don't know in what order though. Hayden will maybe get a couple of podiums , don't think he'll get a win though, much as I'd love to see it.
World Supers is already on its knees (spectator and tv audience wise) and I think a Brit domination would just about kill it off. Having said that I think that this could happen.
Must admit, the mid 90s to 2005 were a brilliant era for WSB. As much says I respect the riders we have in the current competition I think it needs characters like the Foggy/slight/Crafar/Goberts we had back in the day.
Agree, remember those days with all britisch fans in Assen, great times at the camp sites !! And now with only one sbk race on sunday its not very interresting to visit the sunday. BSB in Assen is brilliant !!! lots of races on Sunday and more spectacular then WSBK. Can't wait till september.
