Been looking for a quickshifter unit for my 08 and saw the vids that Lambchops did a year ago. Just wondering what people's thoughts are on this unit now it's been out for a while. Recommended or not worth it?
    Any thoughts appreciated. Ta

Dunno about the healtech. But I've fitted a HM super lite not so long ago, and I cannot fault it in the slightest.

Yeh. Got one on mine... bit of a fiddle to setup and get the sensitivity right, easy enough If you swipe someone else's settings to get it close for you then faff from there. Nothing easier to install sensor wise with no mess once I'd contacted them as I couldn't get the sensitivity right, they advised me to leave the two washers off with their new style sensor. Fun plugging in the harness to coils 1 and 4 but that'll be the same for all of them out there.... the phone app to set it up though is spot on. Just make sure you press upload every time you make a change and give it a chance to do it before you faff anymore. Happy with mine and can swap with any bike now just by buying a harness for said bike.

I have it installed for almost a year now in my '08 1000RR, it is fully adjustable with smooth operation and no problems so far. I would recommend it but ensure you will get the new updated version.

I have the new sensor but haven't tested it yet, I need a shorter shift rod and never got around to getting one then broke my ankle end of last year so still haven't tested it still! Will be back on the blade soon so will let you know how it performs. Was very happy with it even with the old sensor was getting some false cuts when your foot touches the gear lever but new version is supposed to cut down on that.

Healtech are dedicated to making a success of this unit and thier customer support is amazing. You can put the unit in full diagnostic mode and it will log data as you ride which Healttech can use to support you if you have an issues. Also automatic firmware updates from the app which is really cool. It seems like a high end unit but at a real budget price. I sold my HM Plus QS for the healtech and certainly don't regret it.
