Very envious mate..... Racefit are near Matlock, great bunch of guys and will make you a baffle if you ask. If I was lucky enough to own a blade, I'd go Racefit growler or AR..... Heard them both and their both stunning, both to look at and listen to.
Just ordered one from RSR before you posted. Ordered K&N as well (and one for me Porsche as well) Just need me bike now! Misinformed about Austin Racing by my mate the Mong!
Good choice, I still prefer the matte, you won't be disappointed, the only modification I made was a a rubber gasket that fits around under the hugger that seals against the swingarm once installed, stops all the crap from finding its way through a gap! I used an old bike inner tube and bonded it to the underside, works a treat ....
Hunts sold me a new one also, very good deal, cheaper than second hand, although it is on pcp, so thinkin, thinkin.
Mine's on a PCP too. The deal that Honda are offering is way better than an equivalent S1000RR or Panigale. But Hunts were even better than my local Honda dealer and have been great from the word go (as I have said elsewhere, I don't half fanny about when it comes to buying a bike!). My theory is to run the SP for a couple of years and then see what new Fireblade is like.
Fireblade SP. Comes with Ohlins suspension, Brembo Monoblock front calipers, 'blue printed' engine, lightweight rear subframe (no pillion provision), Supercorsa tyres as standard, etc.
For the record, AR haven't gone bust I bought a set of levers from them for my 19RCS in January, absolute quality customer service for anyone looking for things.
Just sold my 2015 r1 and got a new sp blade .just fitted a Leo pipe on and I sounds great not to loud
I had unfortunately got the dog with having to have the engine ripped out .And going to see the engine upside down propped up on wood with a broom handle holding parts in the engine nice not .
