As title reads is anyone using the full engine case covers?
I want to change the gold ones on the bike to black and this seems like the easy option.

I'd go with gb racing covers but that's just a personal preference.

Gb for me too. But don't cover like the r&g ones if it's more for looks....

Don't rate the r&g personally, but still better than nothing

I've got the GB Racing ones on my R6 but thats because we get a hefty discount. Good quality kit.

I've got the r & g racing ones always had gb before crashed with gb before high sides low sides ect lol they worked well.
    Not tested the r & g yet.
The main reason I got them was there were there on the shelf and the discount for feedback since there the racing one's was to good to pass up. Go for the racing one's the others are not as strong.
Think I'm right in saying there the official product for some race series so they must work I know the bungs are good for frame protection

    GB Racing all day long.

Used by Racers, they perform and look great.

The RnG look like cheap plastic Cracker Toys in comparison!

GB all the way.... I have a real dislike to any of the R&G products! Over priced under engineered and usually dog shite quality...

Anyone tried those "c" shaped bolt on lower skid blocks to protect their covers?

Not tried them but imagine they'd be ok for a slide but not for impact. I do know that certain race clubs (NLR) are requiring you have secondary engine cases this year and that the 'sliders' don't count as secondary covers.

I had R&G sliders on my last blade. Had an off at about. 60-70 and the sliders did there job perfectly, not a mark on the engine at all.

Are they good in an off, or do they wear through?

I would say if you have a blade 08+ then go with GB otherwise R&G. Have a look at some reviews on youtube
