Hi guys.. Was wondering if anyone can recommend a decent phone mount that's suitable for a 2011 blade..Can't be bothered with a tomtom rider, so just gonna use phone for navigation.. Thanks in advance people.

I've got a techmount product which I use for my garmin zumo but it can be used for other devices, do you use the screen a lot to see where you are going? If not just pop in pocket and get a Bluetooth headset or just use earbud headphones

Never had one on any of my bikes so not sure how much I'll use the screen, just fancied putting one on the bike instead of keeping the fone inside my jacket on longer distance rides so I can use the gps to help me when I get lost..!

    Try Telferiser,

They do a ram mount that sits in the top of your yolk when you remove the blanking plug. Very neat.

Go to ultimate mobiles, you'll get the whole lot, stem mount, extension arm and waterproof phone case, cheaper than telferiser.

sat nav eats phone battery power very quickly if not powered from the bike. i have a powered phone holder on my bikes, with a bluetooth phone set up in my helmet so that i don't have to look at the phone when riding.i am pretty sure it was from ultimate mobiles .
a couple of mates have had this set up and found that the electronics inside the charging lead black box have shaken loose and stopped working ,so we now split the black box when new and put some gasket sealant inside them to stop them vibrating themselves to death.

Sounds like a good setup, I'm looking to put the 12v usb socket on to power the fone, I'd look at the satnav option if I was going to be doing numerous long journeys regularly, but until next year when a VFR may be added to the garage I'll not be doing that many..lol.

For what it's worth, I didn't get on well with the ultimate mobiles solution. Resonance managed to destroy the clip at the back rendering it useless and I had to hack a solution by screwing it in permanently.

I now use a ram mount which is great except that it's not waterproof (but then neither am I!) and it also needs a hack to fit the large stem size of the blade.

I purchased the ultimate addons newest waterproof case for iPhone 6 and must say quality is excellent, mounts are sturdy and no sign of it slackening or vibrating. Did have to use a rubber sleeve on the stem mount tho to secure it,hasn't budged after several thousand miles now.
