Abba stand or Warrior spyder stand

I've put my blade away for the winter in a Carcoon bike bubble but wanted to get both wheels off the ground. What's best Abba or Warrior spyder stand.

 

I use the warrior stand and think it's great

 

Never used the warrior but have an Abba stand and I can't fault it. Only used it for cleaning and tyre changing so far but I much prefer it to paddock stands.

 

I've just bought a secondhand (although brand new) warrior, the only problem I can see is that you have to buy different attachments for each bike, however, with the Abba, I believe, once purchased, there are no extra costs.

 

Abba stand for me. Great product, easy to use. Bike is solid when on the stand you can even sit on it. I got mine second hand on Gumtree for £70 and that came with the front lift arm.

 

Just had a look at the abba, am I correct in thinking it doesn't lift the front wheel off the ground?

If that's the case, unless anyone has any negative experience of the warrior, then I think that's the way to go....

 

The abba stand has an additional part you have to buy. This then lifts the front wheel off the ground. The abba and warrior work out about the same price then.

 

You don't necessarily need the front lifter, or extension that connects to the swing arm, with the abba. A jack or a block under the sump does the job ( it'll pivot on the abba easily.

I had my SP1 on an abba for over two months when my suspension (front and rear) was out for fettling. Steady as a rock.

 

Just a query on these. I have a conventional paddock stand for the rear, but as thinking of a triple tree stand for the front so I can remove the wheel if necessary. Are they a good bet on the Fireblade?

 

you have to buy the fitting kit for your bike. approx £15 - £20

 

I have a warrior for my gixer750, the fitting kit for the blade sticks out of the frame quite a bit. If it was me, I'd be trying to find a 1Jac, far better quality and they lean the bike back onto the stand by 4degrees.

 

Just got a 1Jac and quality is great and holds the bike steady with both wheels off the ground.

And you can choose what colours you want also.
