Yeh it's a ball ache alright.... Wouldn't be too so bad if Honda used some proper panel pins rather than them stupid stupid screw in type! I changed most of mine to the nomal push the middle pin in and remove type....good luck fella
Just ordered from Doble and used the code. £467 delivered. A bargain....well not really but hell of a saving!
Excellent, I haven't ordered or bought anything yet myself as I need to sell some things to build my exhaust funds up !!!
Bloody typical ! Finally got just about enough to go on the Doble website to use the 20% off code I mentioned earlier and they have stopped it, twats !
Call them up and see if they will still do it for you. Worth asking. If they say no then tell them there twats!
Finding the bike not as smooth as I'd like , below 4000rpm around town etc. What's anybody else's like that's fitted the akrapovic go megaphone can? Wondering if the dealer hasn't reset the Ecuador to reset the fuelling or if it newest weeknight with a laptop. Or just the fact I've only done 200 miles and engine is still tight or other ? Steve @iang27 @Bobtra69 @Chris17 @scottymcjimbo
Not fitted mine yet. Wanted to get first service out of way which I have but got track day at Donington which is 98db noise limit so waiting till after then. Couple of weeks and it'll be fitted.
I've had mine on now for maybe 500 miles, bike has now done around 2700 in total. Runs very smooth and has done since I put the Akra on, no problems whatsoever. Might just be that you haven't many miles on the bike, best to get a few more miles and then see how it is
Just bolted it straight on as per manufacturers recommendations Stevie. I made sure to ask before I bought it and was told that no fueling mods were needed and to be fair, that's proved correct so far. What problems you having? Chris
It's only when riding round town etc 30-40 mph at under 4000 rpm , doesn't seem as smooth as same bike I took out with the older akrapovic on. Maybe just need more miles, dunno if it self learns the fuelling after an ecu reset
Did you turn servo back to original position after disconnecting the cable; might be fooling the ecu if not? You can certainly hear the bike running at those speeds due to extra noise from the pipe, suppose you could mistake that for running rough! As the pipe is after the cat and o2 sensor, it make sense to me that it doesn't require any fueling mods. Give it a few more miles, get the first service out of the way then give it the beans for a bit and see what it's like then
