Lamba sensor for 2008 + bike

    I am after a lamba sensor/ oxygen sensor that fits in the standard exhaust of the 2008 + bikes if anybody has 1 , thanks

    Pretty sure I have 1 in my toolbox mate.

    Sure not easier to just get an o2 eliminator? And bolt

    Got 1 but have removed my yoshimura and pcv and for some reason it's now throwing a fault code on the dash so was going to remove the o2 eliminator and see if that fixes it

    I'd double check the connectors that were unplugged to remove the PCV also just for peace of mind if you haven't already

    You checked what the fault code is?

    I have a video but struggling to upload it, it's the engine light will do 2 slow flashes and then go off for a few seconds and then do 2 more slow flashes and just keep going like that, I thought that was a map sensor fault so thought I would have a go with the oxygen sensor

    Map sensor is manifold absolute pressure sensor

    So what would you suggest the problem is ? Not had the headers off and the exhaust is re fitted ok

    Map sensor is on the inlet side, check connection

    Yeh on the far right just next to the frame, sure it was all connected properly but will double check it all, thanks

    Only other thing I can think of is this, am I right in thinking the hose that is sat on the rear sub frame is a breather and should not be connected to anything . image.jpeg

    Hard to tell from the pic but it looks like that could be the vacuum pipe from the map sensor

    Block that off with a screw mate up the pipe. It will be drawing air and causing your fault.

    Pretty sure thats to do with the pair system.

    Any ideas where it should go to as I don't remember disconnecting it but just noticed it as it was being put back together

    I can't link on my phone but if you are on a pc search sc59 injector bodies on eBay there is a set for sale in Austria with really good pics

    Isn't that the pipe that plugs in to the map air sensor?

    Connects to the lil tube piece under the blue plug on the airbox in the pic you posted.

    That would make sense mate as it's the map sensor that is throwing the fault, hopefully that is the problem
