I had a 2007 R1 and was never happy with the rear suspension. Whent to 2012 Blade and never touched ghe suspension. On the SP found it far to harsh for the road ( I weigh less than 12 stone ) so had a custom set up done at Kais. Really happy with it now. I also felt the brakes didn't live up to my expectation which is why I had the rcs17 and Hel hoses fitted. Again more than happy with the result.
Is yours abs? Any issues with that? Think i will get her set up! What exhaust did you go for and did it need anything else done...pc, i also believe there's a flapper valve? Does it need disconnected?
Hi, mine none abs, put the Akrapovic slip on no changes needed. For the future will look at decay, filter, pc and probably leave it at that.
Hi I test rode a 2016 SP on Saturday and decided to buy one. I like the TT spec so I got a great deal on the tail tidy, slip on akrapovic, ASV levers, rear bobbins, that about it for the only stock SP they had left. I'm looking for a tank pad now, can't find a tasteful red one yet Enjoy, I get mine in two weeks.
Pick my SP up on Saturday can't wait, will be looking getting suspension set up for my weight etc etc and will have to get a tail tidy
