Tickity engine round about 3/4K rpm
Seems fine on idle and above 4 k
Is this a normal valve type noise I can hear
Or something I should be conserned about.

Bike is 2005 with 26k drives great not long took ownership so like to iron out potential issues.
Does have a few mods which may have an impact..
Yoshimaru end can, downpipes look standard
    Power commander
    K&n air filters

Was thinking of changing oil to see if that help?

Cheers for any help in advance

Camchain tensioner most likely. I've just changed mine on both my road bike and track bike

    Which one was easier lol
    I've read it's a bit of a pig of a job.

Is it ok to ride the bike the now with the tick?
Got a track day coming up don't fancy pulling the bike apart before that lol.

The manual 1 takes a bit to set up properly. The OEM 1 takes about 10 minutes to pop in once you get the tank up.

Ok mate ta OEM for me then
Am guessing the stock cct can't be re-set etc
sure had a zx6r auto cct that was able to be reset.

No the OEM can't be reset. Basically what happens is the spring loses a bit of its tension in the CCT and then doesn't work properly
