Hi anyone know where to buy an infill panel for the full akro system?
Is a full akro system worth it, 175 @ the wheel???? Or just sell the thing and buy my mates 09 race prepped big bang r1 with 175@ back wheel for 6k.. cheers

I'd say you'd get 3-5bhp tops? But not always about numbers, it's about delivery and where the power is.

Guessing yours is a road bike hence infill panel, so is your mates Big Bang race bike relevant?

Tbh - unless you are very much on top of your game, it's pretty much down to the rider anyway.....

Aye... On the blade it's more about the midrange increase rather than peak numbers as Jimbo says ...

A lot also depends on dyno you use and who sets it up.

Put a full system and pcv on mine for Jerez.... It was mapped with same exhaust from Guy I bought them from and didn't have time for dyno run but it was running sweet...

Was pulling so much stronger than before low down that it was giving me great drive out the corners... Where is normally lose time on a kwak or bm as they hook up with the TC.

Was very impressed and one of the reasons I'm happy to give the old girl another bash this season.

Can wait to see how much I can improve it tweaking on the dyno

Its a road bike for now, and i suppose yes at the moment the cat and original exhaust is choking it. So i should expect midrange grunt 4-5 hp more... unfortunately because mines a 15 plate, i cant just take the cat out as its straight after the headers, so full arkro ss is 1k... So i have to ask myself is it worth spending that plus then a pc5, custom map etc... The bike handles well from stock... So i can see the potential in the bike....

I have a slip-on Akra (non cat) and with PCV fitted I took it to be tuned.
HP gains were about 10bhp and pulls like a train across the RPM :)

The stock headers are pretty good and my understanding was that, with the full akra system, all you're doing is pushing the power further up the rev range.
Which is great if you're a fast road or track rider, but if you commute or cruise most speed limits then it's not money well spent.
