Hi, has anyone put a side exhaust on their fireblade rr6?
I was thinking it would look great ! But not sure how to go about it cannot see any for sale on eBay, can you just slice it half way down the pipe and not have a end can?
Sorry in advance if I sound stupid !

Personally I think the underseat is one of the best features and you would be left with a big space

I think arrow did one that copied the 2006 moto GP bike, that came out of side and under seat which looked very nice

Yeah I've only seen systems that give you two pipes, not any that eliminate the under seat pipe totally. I also agree with martinowen that the underseat pipe is a great feature. Found a couple of pics on google.

A good mate went through this with his RR4 and a Racefit Growler off a ZXR as above.

He chopped up and welded an old Aprillia RSV subframe, used an HRC style tail from CRC fairings and made a custom bracket to take the number plate and integrated tail light so they could be removed easily for the track.

He chopped the stock pipe and welded the Racefit on (titanium-steel) which means if he chucks it down the road on the wrong side spare parts will be hard to come by.
