    Hey lads,

Got a couple of engine swaps to do on a pair of 2008 'blades next week. Have my brother helping me so have the required extra pair of hands, and all the usual tools, but service manual shows there's a special 'Lock nut wrench - 07VMA-MBB0100' needed for the upper engine hanger lock nut (page 256 of service manual).

Is there any way round buying this part to do the swaps? If not, do you know anywhere I can locate one (other than paying a ridiculous price from a dealer) or even if I could borrow/buy one from someone here that already has one?

It's be very much appreciated, time is a little tight on this, need to have them done by end of next weekend!

The Suzuki 1 is a different size if I remember correctly.

I used an old socket and milled the casilliations onto it. Though I do I have a small mill in the garage.

As above though have a gander on eBay as they don't cost much and is handy to have laying around.

Mine was originally made for my SP1 but also fitted the Blade.

Ping this guy a message and see if he makes 1 for the Blade or if he can give you the dimensions for the below tool to check against what you need.

I didn't use any special tool. I used an Alan key on the rod that part was attached to. Did the same thing putting it back together

Thanks Colin, if you're sure this'll fit the engine mount on a 2008 blade I'll just buy one of these.

Really appreciate the offer rosier. I'll see what Colin says, if it doesn't seem 100% I'll PM you. Will happily pay for postage both ways. Very kind of you sir!

    Hi mate

I can't be certain about the 1 on eBay mate. All you can do really is ping the guy a message and ask for the dimensions.

If it were me I'd pay the postage to borrow the 1 on offer mate. You don't use them often.
